Beautiful Books
Beautiful Books, an indie publishing company, based in Western Australia, focuses on producing inspirational and visually stunning books.
We believe beautiful books nourish the spirit and enrich lives, and our mission is to create great experiences for our readers. Our hope is that readers are inspired to live creative, generous, adventurous and fulfilling lives.
Giving back is a core value of our business and every book we produce has a content designed to inspire generosity of spirit. Causes such as Water For Africa and Transform Cambodia are supported financially through profit sharing.
Steve and Elaine also donate part of their year to working for non-profit organisations and assist them by raising awareness through their publications, speaking and mentoring.
Beautiful Books is more than a publishing company to us — it’s a way of life.

Elaine
Elaine Fraser, author of ‘the Beautiful books’, from Perth, Western Australia taught English and Drama for many years before taking up writing full-time.
Although Elaine is best known for her non-fiction work: Beautiful: beauty tips for the soul and Too Beautiful: more beauty tips for the soul, she has branched out into fiction.
‘I write books that are honest, concerned with real lives and real issues with a spiritual edge. My books are contemporary, don’t always have the perfect ending, but always have hope.
Travel is an important part of Elaine’s life and she spends up to three months of the year away from home.
Being part of a creative community is important to Elaine. She belongs to several writing communities in Australia and around the world.
Mentoring and assisting young writers has become a part of Elaine’s life. ‘Once a teacher, always a teacher. I’m not able to teach in a regular classroom because of my nomadic lifestyle, but I can teach and encourage young writers in workshops, seminars and mentoring retreats.’
‘People say I have the dream life. I get to do what I love – write, study, travel, mentor writers and enjoy living in one of the best cities in the world with my wonderful husband, young adult children and golden retriever, Bear,’ Elaine says.
‘I agree with Marc Anthony when he said, If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.’
Steve
Steve Fraser, photographer and adventurer, was recently described by Australian Geographic as:
A master of light and composition who is one of the Australia’s foremost landscape photographers. Steve has a spirit of adventure and the desire to share some of the world’s incredible locations with others.
Steve particularly loves the extreme challenges of his work – whether it be cave diving with sharks in Tonga or hanging out of a stock mustering plane over the WA outback – that result in such unique images.
His work has been published in books, print and electronic media as well as being used in major advertising campaigns. Private, corporate, governments and royalty from all over the world collect Steve’s fine art images. He is also in demand as a travel and adventure writer and speaker.
He pursues his life and work, which are mostly one and the same, with passion and single-minded determination. This has taken him around the globe, into every continent, from Africa to Antarctica, allowing him to not only experience some of the world’s most spectacular environments, but also to experience many incredible personal moments.
